An Island Retreat... Before and After

As design professionals, we are often faced with design challenges and issues. Overcoming objections is our daily norm. It always makes our job more enjoyable when we have a “star” client. I have the pleasure to share the “before and after” photos from a recent project on Tortoise Island. My client was amazing to work with and our business relationship developed into a friendship. She has a unique collection of African artifacts and photos which were passed down to her from her grandfather. We incorporated these unique pieces into the overall design plan. I am thrilled that she is happy with her new home and I look forward to working with her in the future.

HOLIDAY "POP UP" STORE ... SALE AT WILDWOOD MALL

Our Holiday "Pop Up" store is OPEN at the Wildwood Antique Mall in Melbourne, Florida. The collection includes Christmas gifts & decor, art, silk topiary, mirrors, candles, candle holders wax candles, coastal decor and SO MUCH MORE. We are restocking the display weekly during the month of December or until the last item is sold. 

NEW PROJECTS FOR THE HOLIDAYS....

Our big move is behind us and our new renovation project is underway. We sold a majority of our "in stock" inventory during the month of September. We do have a few "one of a kind" pieces in our warehouse, including wall art, case goods, accessories and silk florals and a few topiaries. A selection of our smaller accessories and gift items are on display at the Wildwood Antique Mall, in Melbourne. Our Christmas merchandise will be displayed there the week of November 6th. The  prices are insane, so stop by and pick up a holiday gift or two. We have enjoyed our GALLERY space at our current location for the past year, but we are ready to move on. During the week, we will offer significant discounts on our in stock merchandise. This includes brand new items (with tags), staging furniture and accessories as well as our Holiday collection. We will be available by appointment only through Sept. 30th. Another BEFORE and AFTER photo.....a LUXURIOUS MASTER BEDROOM IN YOUR DREAMS.

The Master Bedroom BEFORE was a little plain Jane, lacking dimension, color and depth. We added drama and gave the space personality and staying power. Here are few tips on how we transformed the space. We eliminated the old carpet and added Italian wood tile floors with a heavy distressed finish. Honestly, they look like reclaimed wood planks at a fraction of the cost. Plus, they are easy to care for. Next we added dimension by layering fabrics and color. We handprinted a patina finish on the back wall using pewter and silver to highlight the glam dressers from Restoration Hardware. We featured a lovely area rug and timeless duvet cover, also from Restoration Hardware. Notice the oversized armoire? That is actually an Ikea piece that we painted in Dove Gray. We added the sleek hardware to finish the look. There is now tons of new storage space and no construction costs. New crown molding, elegant new lamps, handprinted iron headboard... all details that really WOW our clients.
